They took refuge with the Susquehanna Indians in
Eastern Pa. until 1875.,
No one knows the fate of my great-grandfather and
great-grandmother.
Some stories say in 1876, they migrated to Halifax,
Nova Scotia, Canada.
Granpa Bladelock had one hell of a journey during his
life and times.
At the age of sixteen, Grandpa Bladelock married a
Susquehanna female named Abhaya.
He fathered four children in that marriage.
In the year 1900, grandpa divorced his first wife, moved
to Logstown, Pa., and married a Seneca Indian woman
named Chenoa.
Grandpa Bladelock fathered five children with Chenoa.
In 1930 Grandpa Bladelock divorced Chenoa and
moved to Aliquippa, Pa.
He met a 45-year-old woman named Mahala Shaw Sterling.
Mahala Shaw Sterling was half black and Shawnee Indian.
She had three children from a previous marriage, Emma,
Willy, Laura, and one adopted female child named Aronela.
