“AND AROUND WE GO”
Recently, I have learned that the original white Sterlings
were from Scotland.
They bought, sold, and traded gold, silver, African
people, spices, and other items to Europe’s royal families
and wealthy Arabic merchants.
The Sterling clans were very honorable and respected
throughout England, Ireland, and Scotland.
Scottish-American Sterlings owned most of my so-
called African American ancestors.
All European sir names given to us so-called African
Americans represent the history of our enslavement.
I am not proud of my slave history or my slave names.
The sir name, Sterling, is okay if you are Scottish, Irish,
or English.
However, I have no desire to be Scottish, English, Irish,
or any other European culture.
