After you apply for Canadian perman ent residence
The finish line is almost in sight!
At this final stage of the process, IRCC will make sure that:
the information you’ve submitted is complete and accurate
you’ve paid your processing fees
you’ve met all the requirements
you’ve included all your documents
IRCC may contact you if they require further information from you , to con firm that
they’ve reviewed your application , to send you updates on the status of you r
application, to request additional documents, to set up an interview if necessary
and/or generally provide you with mor e instruction s abou t what to do next.
You can use this to report any important changes toweb form you r application . These
changes would include:
changes in address, telephone number, email or ot her contact infor mation
births or deaths in your family
marriages or divorces
adoptions
changes to your job or job offer
a new educational credential
updated language test results
How to check the status of your application
You can check the status of your application by log ging into you r accou nt.
Under “View the applications you submitted”, you can click on “Check status and
messages”:
