The month of April has been extremely busy where the learners tested their knowledge in the first

Diagnostic assessment. However, the joy of learning has been uninterrupted as the learners came
across the idioms. With illustrative examples, visual quizzes, funny phrases and sentences - the
lesson of idioms has been a special one.
Math
The learners worked on Concept of Integers. The learners understood the different methods to

perform addition as well as subtraction. They enjoyed the ordering of integers. They used a
number line to calculate the sum or the difference. They showed displayed their knowledge of
the same of the same by solving and creating story problems. They even learnt the comparison of
integers.

Global Perspectives
The learners learnt about Healthy food habits. Different ways to reduce the consumption of junk
food and replace them with healthy options. They could demonstrate their learning with the
help of a daily health journal.
ICT
LO: Files and Folders.

The learners were able to learn the usage of folders in computers. Identify the difference between
a file and a folder. The way to create a folder was demonstrated in the class. Different properties
of the folder were also explained such as Rename and Delete. Basic file creation was also covered
in the class. The students learnt to create a basic notepad file on their computers and type text in
them.
