Family Indoor Games to Parents- (Grade 1 to 10)

“Family is a circle of strength and love” and our Cambridge wing took full initiative to make this
circle even stronger with a day of fun-filled indoor activities. No wonder the learners and their
families were all geared up for the activities as they added a spark of entertainment in their lives.
The event was very systematically organized on April 24, 2021, by the Cambridge facilitators
and learners. The opening ceremony of the event started at 3 o’clock in the afternoon where the
hosts Karishma and Rachel captivated the audience with their friendly banters. The event elevated
to a higher level when the honourable Principal, Ms. Sunita Rao addressed the gathering and
introduced the Chief Guest, Dr. Narasaiah Kottur, the Joint Managing Director of Sport Authority
of Telangana State, who motivated the parents and learners with his delightful words and created
a vibrant atmosphere for the activities to begin.
The indoor activities were extremely creative and entertaining which included - indoor bowling,
pitching the ball, sock toss, peanut relay, balancing act and many more. The games brought out a
completely different side of the parents who reinvented the child inside them and participated in
all the activities with utmost enthusiasm and joviality. The event brought back the smiles on
everyone’s face and served as an escape route from the difficult circumstances of the present
world.
