asked to draw two circles in the math notebook and name it as even and odd respectively.
Learners were given varied numbers to identify and write it in the circles accordingly.

A recap of all the topics covered for the Month of March’21 and April’21 was done before the
diagnostic test - 1as a revision for the learners.

Science

LO: Rocks and Materials

Materials concept was recapitulated through verbal discussion and through quizzes. The
learners were introduced to the various types of rocks through PPT presentations. They were
given a few key words for writing practice. The children were asked to examine a stone and
draw their understanding in a worksheet. They were also taught about the three types of rocks-
Igneous rocks, sedimentary rocks, and metamorphic rocks. The learners were able to express
their level of understanding through DA-1 and this was visible through the results which were
impressive.

LO: Using nouns and adjectives in creating a setting.
The learners were introduced to the concept of nouns and adjectives. They have used the
different adjectives in creating a setting. It was fun watching children searching for synonyms

of the word given and trying to use it in different ways. They shared their settings in the class
and enjoyed a lot.
