They were also given a word building game where only vowels are given. The learners were
asked to collect as many words as possible using their dictionaries. This allowed them to

review the dictionary skill. It’s fun to watch the kids struggle to collect the most words and be
the first of all which created a healthy competitive spirit amongst them.
Math

The learners worked on number patterns and appreciated the beauty of different patterns. They
understood the different methods to perform addition as well as subtraction. They used a
number line to calculate the sum or the difference. They could apply their knowledge of the
same by solving and creating story problems. The young minds admired the Identity,
Commutative property and Associative property of addition.

The month of April has been extremely busy where the learners tested their knowledge in the
first Diagnostic assessment. However, the joy of learning has been uninterrupted as the

learners came across the idioms. With illustrative examples, visual quizzes, funny phrases and
sentences - the lesson of idioms has been a special one.
Math
The learners worked on Concept of Integers. The learners understood the different methods to

perform addition as well as subtraction. They enjoyed the ordering of integers. They used a
number line to calculate the sum or the difference. They showed displayed their knowledge of
the same of the same by solving and creating story problems. They even learnt the comparison
of integers.
