The learners learnt about Healthy food habits. Different ways to reduce the consumption of
junk food and replace them with healthy options. They could demonstrate their learning with
the help of a daily health journal.

ICT
LO: Files and Folders.
The learners were able to learn the usage of folders in computers. Identify the difference
between a file and a folder. The way to create a folder was demonstrated in the class. Different
properties of the folder were also explained such as Rename and Delete. Basic file creation
was also covered in the class. The students learnt to create a basic notepad file on their
computers and type text in them.

LO: To identify and employ figurative language in a text.
The month helped the learners to brush up their understanding of Figurative language and how
they are employed in different texts. Topics discussed under this banner include metaphor,
oxymoron, simile to name a few. Diagnostic Assessment (DA-1) which followed up towards
the end of the month ensured that the students got a chance to put their knowledge to test. The
assigned Holiday Homework, which is comprehensive of the learning that took place, would
further ensure that the learners are able to have a good command over the concepts delivered.

LO: Poem recitation
The learners recited a poem with the correct pronunciation and rhythm. By this, they learnt
the manner of reciting a poem with proper rise and fall of voice wherever necessary to bring
out the beauty of a poem.
