Math
LO: To be able to understand and apply laws of indices.
Learners were asked to make an “Exponents wheel” on laws of exponents (foldable wheel on
laws of exponents) after the explanation of all the laws of exponents. This is a great foldable
wheel for the learners as it has all of the laws of exponents on it and the learners can revise
the concept easily using this foldable wheel. Quiz through Quizziz.com and observations using

an online spinning wheel on the same concept were conducted to check the understanding of
           the learners.
           Science
LO: The structure of the atom.
Discovery of the atom model was explained PPT and video to the students and they prepared
short notes on the topic. Students were taught how to write the electronic configuration for the
first twenty elements by using PPT, video and simulations. differentiated worksheets and
worksheets prepared from past checkpoint exams were discussed in the class. Quiz and google
forms were used to measure the understanding level of the learners.
           Social Studies
LO: To discuss- why ‘modern period’ is not referred to as ‘modern’ by Indian historians.
Modern period started with the arrival of the British on the shores of India. Learners discussed
that ‘modern period’ as mentioned by British historians cannot be called modern because it
was actually a ‘colonial period’ according to Indian historians. The discussion shed light on
the topic of interpretations in history. The learners understood that interpretations differ in
history as individuals and groups interpret events differently.
           Hindi

The learners recited the DOHA and explained the meaning of this. Through this, they
understood the depth of literature and also learnt the moral values to follow in day today's
           life.

           Grade 9

           English

LO: To identify and discuss figurative language in songs.
Learners listened to the ‘simile’ song and used the similes to apply it in different contexts.
Similarly, learners shared the songs which had figurative language and explained how they
are used. The activity helped them to reflect on the figurative language and its use.
