Science
LO: Parts of the plants, flower and germination of seeds
The learners were able to identify the parts of the plant and were able to explain its functions.
They were able to label the parts of the flower and explain the function of each part. The video
was shown to understand about the functions of different parts of the plant and flower.
Differentiated worksheet was given to the students for measuring their understanding level.
Grade 6
English
Cambridge is always known for its tradition of taking it to the next level and another example
of this tradition has been set by the grade 6 learners as they took Cambridge Primary
Checkpoint Assessment. However, the learners were back to the learning tracks as soon as
they finished with Checkpoint Assessment. With brand new feathers in their wings the learners
learnt to look at the texts with new perspectives through paraphrasing. The learners
approached the lesson of paraphrasing with great interest as they enjoyed expressing the texts
in various ways applying the different techniques of paraphrasing.
Math
LO: To be able to add and subtract negative numbers.
Activity: The concept of addition and subtraction of integers was taught using counters of two
different colours (Red-Negative integers and Blue-Positive integers). Through this activity, all
the learners were able to understand the addition and subtraction of integers and they could
add and subtract two digit integers without using counters. A quiz was conducted on the same
through Quizziz.com to check the understanding of the learners.
Hindi
The learners were given an opportunity to speak about members of their family and
expressed the same through a writing task. This activity not only helped to improve their
language skills but also contributed in depicting the value of gratitude.
Grade 7
English
LO: To identify and employ figurative language in a text.
Letter Writing
Learners brushed up their understanding of the concepts Letter Writing and Figurative
language. Topics discussed under these two banners include Letters, its types, alliteration,
onomatopoeia, and metaphor. Diagnostic Assessment (DA-1) gave the learners to apply their
