The assembly overall was informative and at the same time an enriching experience for the
students of grades 6 to 10. From the rendition of a melodious prayer song to a poem recitation
and then an informative speech to an engaging Kahoot quiz, this assembly had it all, plus
everything was connected to bring awareness on the purpose of the meteorological day. With
such educating activities and fun elements incorporated in the assembly, it was wonderful and
definitely an audience pleaser.

Save Water- Save Life Assembly by Grade 5 Learners

On account of World Water Day, the learners of Grade 5 conducted a special assembly.
The assembly focused on World Water Day theme 2021- ‘Valuing Water’
World Water Day is held on 22 March every year since 1993 and it focuses on the importance
of freshwater. World Water Day raises awareness on the issue of 2.2 billion people living
without access to safe water. It is about acting to tackle the global water crisis.
The assembly started with a thought-provoking video on the importance of conserving water.
Then the learners presented their views on usage of water in our daily lives and shared tips on
how the water can be conserved at home and school. Later, there was a presentation of the
research done by grade 5 on how different countries acted upon the water crisis and
successfully tackled the problem. There was also discussion on ‘Role of India in water
management’ including Ganga Bachavo program. The assembly ended with a song on water
