and concepts related to the topic were revisited, taking great care at analysing and
understanding the intended ideas. Regular writing tasks and collaborative learning strategies
eased out the feeling of tiresome repetition. Many a time, the facilitator was simply in awe for
the kind of lines that the learners penned.
Math
LO: To be able to calculate square roots and cube roots.
Learners reviewed the concept of square roots and cube roots through BINGO. This is a fun
and engaging way for students to review the concept. Through this activity students could
recall the concept of squares, cubes, square roots and cube roots. Followed by this activity
quiz on the same concept was conducted (through Quizziz.com).
Science
Learners were excited to learn a new concept every day. They learned about the density of
various materials, trying to calculate the volume of unknown fluids, calculating density,
solving numerical. They also learned the concept of pressure exerted by solids, it’s a unique
combination of Math and Science. Applying various formula learnt in Math to solve the
numerical in Physics. Learners were excited to create videos about the early attempts which
were made to explain the Atomic Models
Social
LO: To research about countries and present the understanding to the class.
The learners researched on any three countries from three different continents under the theme
‘Let’s explore…’Students presented their understanding through PPT /notebook and also
shared the same with the class. An assessment based on their learning about the different
countries was also conducted. The activity helped the learners to know about diverse countries.
The learners gained awareness and knowledge about the capital, currency, historical places
and also some uncommon fun facts related to them.
Hindi
LO: Revisited the topic - poster making.
Children discussed about ‘child labour’ and the reason behind it and wrote a paragraph about
it. They also made a poster on the topic for awareness. By this they learnt to express their view
on the topic and also learnt to make a poster.

English
LO: To revise the concepts for Checkpoint exams.
Learners revised the concepts which will be tested in the checkpoint using specimen paper and
review of the mock test papers. They had doubt clarification sessions to clarify their doubts.
