LO: Describe given picture in their own words.
Describing something would always require a better understanding over the concept/thing
being described. Learners from Grade-3 grabbed their opportunity to work on this with an
activity on describing a picture.

It is said that “Art is a language” and to master this art the learners have begun the topic of
Figurative Language with utmost enthusiasm and interest. Anchor charts of the figures of
speech, visual examples of similes and hyperboles dominated the English learning of the
month and the learners expressed the joys of learning by creating their own examples of
figurative language through words and pictures. Certainly, the day is not too far where our
vibrant learners will start writing poems and stories using the figurative language.
Math- The learners used rounding hills.
LO: Round 3-digit numbers to the nearest 10, 100 & 1000.
Understand basic operations with numbers
