The learners appreciated and admired the number system. They understood that the pattern
of numbers has no end. They practiced how to recite a number and represented it in different
forms.

LO: Make choices about books to read for pleasure, including based on blurbs and reviews.
The learners were given an introduction about how to choose a book to read. The learners
know how to identify all the elements of the story by reading the cover page. They could guess
the plot of the story by the reading the blurb and selected the book to read. The learners
discussed about the cover page and also were curious to know what might happen in the story.
Math
LO: Recite, read and write number names and whole numbers, Understand the relative size
of quantities to compare and order 3-digit positive numbers, using the symbols =, > and <.
Understand and explain that the value of each digit is determined by its position in that
number.
Round 3-digit numbers to the nearest 10 or 100
The learners appreciated and admired the number system. They understood that the pattern
of numbers has no end. They practiced how to recite a number and represented it in
expanded notation and standard form.
The learners used hands to represent the comparing symbols and practiced using the symbols
while ordering the numbers.
