LO: Count objects from 0 to 20, recognizing conservation of number and one-to-one
correspondence. Recognize the number of objects presented in familiar patterns up to 10

Students were made to learn the concept of ten frames, estimating and counting by making

them participate in various learning activities in class like using number flash cards and
objects. Students were actively engaged and this helped them to learn and understand the
concept easily.
Science:
LO: To know animals or plants are living things.
This month’s focus was to explain the concept of living and nonliving things to the students.
They were provided with flashcards displaying various images and were asked to identify
living and non-living objects accordingly. Students were actively engaged and this helped
them to learn and understand the concept easily.

LO: To be able to read, write and understand how long ‘e’ words can be spelt differently.
LO: To read a story and identify the 5 W’s of a story.
The learners were introduced to the elements of a story and taught to identify the elements

using the 5 W’s. They were given a short story and asked to read and identify the narrative
elements. The learners were also introduced to the long e words with ea, ee, ey and y. The kids
played games and performed quiz related to the same topic.
