There is a full report on the 2022 International Registrar’s Report
Council meeting in Houston held on October 15
and 16 in this newsletter. Importantly, Section VIII
International Councillor Clive Ross CNZM was able to
attend the meeting in person. Our other Section VIII
International Councillor, Jackie Robinson, attended
virtually.
There was a most significant action taken at the 2022
Council meeting which is of interest to all Fellows of
Section VIII. The Section VIII Board had petitioned
the Council for approval to add more islands of
the South Pacific to the countries listed within the
jurisdiction of Section VIII. For many years, Section
VIII (Australasia) has been described as comprised
of “Australia, New Zealand, Fiji Islands and Papua
New Guinea”. I am happy to advise that the Council Petrina Bowden, Registrar
approved the Section VIII petition and the new

2022 Queen’s Birthday Honours
