The mean total intensities for the 12 negative controls (NC) and three reagent blanks (RB) across all studies performed for this validation. The mean total intensity is
calculated by summing the p95 red and p95 green intensity values from the GenomeStudio analysis. The baseline noise was calculated at 1,400 by taking 3 standard
deviations above this mean (958) and rounding up to the next hundred. To be conservative, the intensity threshold was established at three times the baseline (4,200).
Baseline and intensity thresholds are marked by solid black lines.
