6. PRESETTING NIVELL PLATES - PRELIMINARY HEIGHT

a. Temporarily position both Nivell plates

on their respective surfaces
b. Start with a single shim under each
Nivell

c. Orientation is important, so identify
the ‘Notch’ on the one of the corners
of each Nivell and shim and position
as described on the image
