d. Remove the locks from each of

‘Levelling bolts’ on each quadrant (see
image below)

e. Using a 17mm socket, turn all
levelling bolts CCW to their lowest
position.

f. Strike a line on each of the levelling
bolts to use as reference when
counting turns. (see image below)

g. Using this reference line give all
levelling bolts 9 complete turns CW.

This raises each quadrant to the
middle of its total range of motion.

IMPORTANT: It has been previously determined that the full range of motion of
the Nivell levelling bolts is approximately 18 turns so the middle position is 9 turns
from either end. This is just a convenient starting point.
