Tony Caldwell is a true entrepreneur. He has been a
life insurance producer, worked in computer sales, real
estate, property management, politics, public service,
and even worked though his school years—including
college while playing Division I soccer. Tony landed
in Property and Casualty as a partner in Oklahoma
Business Insurors, Inc., an Oklahoma-City-based retail
insurance agency started by Ken Anderson in 1987.
Tony proceeded to build a book of business from scratch
building on his prior experience in cold calling and
niche marketing.
In 2000, Oklahoma Business Insurors, Inc. formed
One Agents Alliance to become an SIAA Master Agency.
Over the last twenty years, One Agents Alliance has
helped over 250 insurance professionals start their own
agencies, has been named SIAA’s #1 Master Agency for
the last four years, and books over $500M of premium
in five states. In 2012, One Agents Alliance became a
standalone business under Tony’s leadership. One Agents
Alliance has been named to the Oklahoma City “Metro
50” for the past four years (an award given each year to
the fifty fastest-growing companies in the area) and has
also been named one of Oklahoma’s Best Places to Work.
Tony has not arrived at success; he follows a path with
mentors of personal and business growth and improve-
ment and continues that path forward even today. As
Tony and I were discussing this book, one statement he
made stuck with me: “I have always believed that the
purpose of my life is to help others.” The UnCaptive
Agent is the culmination of years of personal and busi-
ness experience.
