VALLEY SUNSET DISTRICT UPDATES!

Our District took pride in honoring outstanding women achievers for our
National Business Women's Week luncheon. We wrote about them in our last
article of the “California Woman”. These honorees were great examples
of Women of Achievement.

Our Next meeting will be February 4th and will be chaired by our Conejo
Valley BPW Club. It will be at the Palm Garden Hotel, 495 N. Ventu Park Road,
Thousand Oaks. The annual meeting will be chaired by Burbank BPW. Earlier in
the year, it was decided that each club would arrange one conference. In Octo-
ber, Hollywood was the host. Our Members at large chaired our Holiday luncheon
in December. A delightful time of fellowship at a famous Celebrity restaurant
called the Smoke House. For many years celebrities have visited the restaurant
including BPW!

Rumor has it that one of our SoCal shining stars has been nominated for an
Emmy award! I am sure you know who that is! (Hint Hollywood Young BPW) I Am
sure you guessed correctly - i.e. Ashley-Maria.

BPW is delighted that our clubs are getting new members and hope they
will be involved in our BPW mission and activities.

We are sad that Burbank BPW President, Diane Reyes has moved to
Sacramento, but has promised to keep in touch by zoom.

Valley Sunset District members wish all our BPW members a Happy and
Safe Holiday and look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
