Connecting the UI with the Input Methods:
The User-Interface was prototyped with a focus on a strong connection between on screen elements and off-
screen input methods (buttons). The main tool to link those elements was colour.
Selected items are displayed in the same purple hue as the off-screen navigation buttons and highlighted with
stronger saturation and a drop shadow. Small arrows show possible directions for navigating the interface.
Example Idle Screen:
The idle screen is displayed, when the device is currently not in use. It helps the player to interact, play and com-
pete more, through displaying information, such as the number of other players that are currently online, motivat-
ing challenges, new games, etc.
