Detailing the CAD Model in SolidWorks:
To get to the final Stage of this Project, the design went through many stages and
evolved over time. The first models sketched out the basic shapes and features of
the design where as the later in the design procces the separate internal parts were
modeled and later assembled into the final product.
This is a rendering of the last “prototype” CAD model, meaning after it there was
only on more model, this time including all the internal components. The largest
visual difference between this model and the final one is the wedge shaped side
profile. Whereas this model seems top heavy, the final model has the inverted angle
and feels much lighter towards the top end.
