DESIGN APPROACH
System-based approach
Mining Systems
Disruptive Design Methodology or DDM focuses on solving a problem
creatively such as a sustainable issue. Such design method fits such
interaction problem due to the holistic approach for the parking Landscaping Sustainability
system. Mainly it consists of three steps which are mining, landscaping,
and building. However, for creating a sustainable parking system the
method had to be adjusted and applied based on literature and data
whilst retaining its design core principles. This method considers the Building Design
use of systems and integrating sustainability with design.
Disruptive Technology
Using innovative and disruptive technologies for university can greatly benefit traditional approaches and interacts more effectively with
high-end solutions. Such include smart parking systems, EV infrastructure, which is already being implemented in SETU, mobility as a service
(MaaS) platform to integrate multiple transportation services on one interface, augmented reality (AR) with real-time guidance for users on
available parking spaces for better efficiency and less traffic congestion.
