Introduction
Design Process timeline
Feb 2025 – Mar 2025
Development phase
Utilising findings from the definition phase to formulate numerous hypotheses to
produce ideation and potential improvements for the tourism sector in Ireland.
The ideation process will consist of numerous stages to refine, cultivate, and
determine the best most user centred solutions to make tourism in Ireland easier
and less stressful.
The best ideas will be identified and combined with the persona boards to gage a
better understanding of how the ideas would perform with the usersʼ needs and
wants. Stakeholder maps, storyboards, and mind maps will be used to analyse
and enhance the final idea. A finite hypothesis will be produced from the findings
and will allow for moving forward to the prototyping phase.

Prototyping phase
In this final phase one idea will be completed based on research and findings
after feedback and a reviewing of low and mid fidelity prototypes. Low fidelity
prototypes will be hand drawn sketches on paper or an iPad. User feedback will
be received. Decisions of branding and aesthetics will be considered.
Mid fidelity will be used to finalise branding and aesthetic. It will also help to
conclude a functional greyscale version of the prototype. Once again user
feedback will be received and processed to create final changes.
Branding will be created to be included and applied to the final high-fidelity
prototype. This is to ensure a cohesive, seamless appearance that is functional
and appealing.
