# Quality
Our Quality Performance in the 1st Quarter sets positive signals on
Customer escalations reductions and there is an increasing Green
status on the customer scorecard. However, we have still significant
gaps to the Standards and a high number of Quality escapes.
This leads us to high costs to protect Aptiv and the Customer with im-
pact on Reworks and Sorting, as well as a lack of Quality consistency.
To continuously improve, we will go back to basics, prevent and assure, increase process controls and reduce the
product inspection.
We will concentrate on Risk Management and effective problem solving, living our values – Act fast like Owner!
