Under the leadership of Soror Laquitta Bone and the Sisterly Relations Committee coupled with the Mem-
bership Committee and the Strengthen Our Sisterhood, EGO achieved another first with record numbers at
our Chapter Retreat. This culminated with $30 Publix gift cards delivered to 86 of the residents at the Gate-
way Apartments; truly an uplift to the community.
As we moved to the 66th Debutante Presentation and Ball, EGO’s footprint of prospective debutantes spans
across three counties and 16 schools – has to be a first! The 66th Debutante and Presentation Ball also in-
cluded a Dad and Daughter Service Project that was well received and another first! And, a video that was
published at the Get Acquainted Reception that generated EGO’s footprint on TikTok – another first!

EGO’s Black and Bling Holiday Social led by EGO’s SOS, Membership and Sisterly Relations Committee
with good soul food and fun was a wonderful way to celebrate and have some fun. This was an awesome
time to fellowship and enjoy each other prior to holidays But Sorors, that is not all! Under the scrutiny of So-
ror Gwen Williams, we have moved our accounts to Synovus and worked with and established relationship
with Soror Leteria Waters to invest our funds and obtain more revenue. A fundraiser on-line vehicle through
PayRoc was also established for greater efficiencies and visibility.
Sorors, there is absolutely no way to document all that EGO has facilitated, implemented and executed this
year. But, we MUST toot the horns of the Resource Committee led by Sorors Pam Siles and Angel Baytop
with the support of a steadfast and dedicated committee. The clean out and clean up or our storage facilities
at the UHAUL facility was a MAJOR feat! EGO reduced the footprint of storage facilities and reduced our
expenses, while determining and organizing inventory of our stuff. Over a ton of unused property was donat-
ed or sent to the landfill. This was needed and EGO is grateful for the sacrifice and service this team cement-
ed for the effective and efficiencies that will be realized in our future.

As you read the various articles included herein, you will certainly be amazed at the service EGO is provid-
ing to our community and the sisterly ways we are enhancing our sisterhood. Let’s continue to embrace our
sisterhood, generate more connections to foster greater relevance and organize services with measurable im-
pacts. WATCH EGO SOAR!
