QUEENS ARE BORN IN JANUARY What a
coronation celebration the Epsilon Gamma
Omega January Birthday Sorors had on Satur-
day, January 13, 2024.The day began with Janu-
ary Queens wearing their crowns during chapter
meeting. Following chapter meeting, January Queens assembled at Kona Grill for fellowship and food.
Soror Celesta Bridgeforth opened up with a moving meditation and grace asking God to bless the prepar-
ers, providers, and partakers of the food. That was followed by an Ice Breaker led by Soror Whitney
Aboko-Cole and a getting-to-know-you activity led by Soror Cynthia Holden. We acknowledged each of
our birth dates and discovered that Madam Basileus and Soror LaDonna (J15) are not the only January
birthday twins! Soror Carol Woods and Soror Stephanie Burton (J17) are also birthday twins! Birthday
twin power activate! We recognized Golden January Queens Pearl Watson and Doris McShann. We en-
joyed another fellowship game by Soror Cynthia followed by a card swap led by Soror LaDonna McCann.
The fellowship time continued with a special presentation of a collection for Soror Yvette Evans who had
experienced a house fire during the holidays. Soror Yvette Evans paid half of the donation forward to the
CHIP program! It was truly a moment of SOARING to greater heights of sisterhood and service. The af-
ternoon concluded with good food and great fellowship. It was indeed a celebration fit for pretty January
Queens.
