• Check-ins/checkouts for doctor or dentist appointments require an excuse
from that office and should be provided upon arrival to school.
• Excused tardies include dentist/doctor appointments, car trouble (once).
Late buses do not count as a tardy

• Tardies and absences count against perfect attendance

SCHOOL ARRIVAL
• School hours are from 7:50 a.m. until 2:40 p.m. each day
• Students may not arrive at school before 7:30 a.m. and will not be
permitted to be dropped off before that time. All students will go
straight to their classrooms upon entering the school building after 7:30
a.m.

CAR RIDERS
• All cars dropping off students should use the entrance behind the school
• All car riders should enter the school using the back entrance.
• Students may enter at 7:25 a.m. Please do not bring children to school
and/or leave them at the school door before they open at 7:25 a.m.
• No car riders are permitted to be dropped off using the front school door or
in bus parking area.

• The car line is not time for conferences, signing papers, etc. Please take care
of this before leaving home and/or schedule a virtual conference.

BUS RIDERS
• We encourage all in-district students to ride the bus to and from school.
• Once children enter the school from the buses, adults will be present to
receive them.
• Students will have assigned seating.
• After school is dismissed, all bus riders are walked to the bus by the
classroom teachers and supervised while boarding.
• Please make sure arrangements are made to receive children once they arrive
home after school.
DRIVING IN FRONT OF OR AROUND BUSES WHILE CHILDREN ARE
LOADING OR UNLOADING IS PROHIBITED. TRAFFIC IN BOTH
DIRECTIONS MUST STOP WHEN SCHOOL BUSES ARE STOPPED.

MAKE-UP WORK

• 3 days is the time allowed for students who have been absent to complete
missed assignments or make up tests.
