SCHOOL SNACKS
• Juice, water, chips, crackers, rice krispy treats, granola bars, gold fish, and
Dippin’ Dots are sold in the school store
• Prices range from $.25 to $2.00
• Snack items may be brought from home (NO CARBONATED DRINKS)
• Students can purchase a one-week snack card for $8.75 or a two-week card
for $17.50.
ITEMS PROHIBITED AT SCHOOL
• Rolling backpacks are prohibited due to safety reasons

PHONE CALLS AND MESSAGES
• Please communicate clear instructions about after school arrangements
BEFORE leaving home each morning. If you must call the school to leave a
message for your child, please do so BEFORE 2:00 p.m. Personal phone
calls to students will not be permitted.
MEDICATIONS
• An adult must sign in all medications with the school nurse. These will be
administered by the nurse as prescribed.
• Non-prescription/over the counter medications (Aspirin, Tylenol, Ibuprofen)
should be given to students at home when possible. If requesting for OTC
meds to be administered at school, please see the nurse, as a doctor’s note
may be required.
RETURNED CHECKS
• Lawrence County Board of Education requires we charge $30 for all
returned checks.
LOST OR DAMAGED BOOKS
• Students are responsible for books assigned to them or checked out from the
library and must pay for any lost or damaged books.
