Launching New Dimensions in Leadership, Service and

Membership

The Standards and Membership
Committees held the Officers Workshop
on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at First
Missionary Baptist Church. A learning
environment and a fun filled morning was
presented to Sorors of Epsilon Gamma
Omega, Gamma Mu and Omicron
Zeta. Topics presented were Leadership
by Soror Dawn Stanley, Service by Soror
Cheryl R. Davis and Membership by
Sorors Sharon Boclair, Wilma Ruffin and
Adrienne P-K Washington with Soror
Washington focusing on Risk Management
Concepts. The Ice Breaker was presented
by Soror Jada Gray where Sorors were able
to determine what kind of leader they are by by identifying with a lion, rabbit, tiger, etc. The morning was
packed with information that can be used during the 2017 year and in the future. All Sorors left with a better
understanding of Chapter Operations of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and a zeal to work.
