They were business owners, and they offered many strategies that we could use for our management and development operations.
Many of our Board of Director meetings were held at their business in Lake Mary. They also personally contributed to every fundraiser
that Tajiri had. Mrs. Buford and several other parents assisted me in acquiring a permanent home for Tajiri. I remember her preparing
the petition for our meeting with the Sanford City Commissioners. She also made a strong case for Tajiri’s need to own the property
at 519 Palmetto Avenue. I will always remember their full support of all our efforts.
Thank you immensely, Mrs. McClandon and Mrs. Buford, for contributing so much to Tajiri’s popularity on the local, state, and
national levels.
