    Investigation of the properties and the possibility


    of  using  polynomials  approximating  an  ideal


    low-pass filter for parametric synthesis of feed

    drives for CNC machines*








































            In the study [1], a method of parametric synthesis of a two-mass feed drive is described,
    in which one mass is the moment of inertia of the rotating part of the drive J1, and the other
    is the moment of inertia of the movable unit J2 reduced to the screw. The elastic connection
    between the masses c1,2 is determined by the axial stiffness of the drive mechanism. Features of
    the simulations of the engine of the power control system are described in [2, 3]. The synthesis
    process consists in determining the parameters of the electromechanical system, obtained by
    equating the coefficients of the characteristic polynomial to the coefficients of the reference
    polynomials approximating the ideal filter of the lower frequencies. The transfer functions of
    the drive, obtained on the basis of the indicated polynomials, have different frequency and time
    characteristics, have different theoretical and practical feasibility.
