RUSBURMASH JSC started work in Chukotka

RUSBURMASH JSC (part of the management loop of
ARMZ Uranium Holding Company / Mining Division of Rosatom
State Corporation) will take part in the development of one
of the world's largest copper deposits. (part of the KAZ
Minerals group) RUSBURMASH JSC has begun a complex of
engineering and geological surveys in Chukotka. tons of ore
per year (1.4 million tons per year of copper concentrate)
The commissioning of the Baimsky GOK will provide 3.5
thousand jobs, the annual production of copper in Russia will
grow by 15-20%, and molybdenum - by almost 80%. Due
to the difficult climatic conditions, it is planned to widely use
modern technological solutions, construction will be carried
out, among other things, with the help of unmanned dump
trucks, production processes will be automated as much as
possible.
RUSBURMASH JSC will perform drilling operations as part of engineering and geological
surveys along the planned route of the road from the port to the field. "It is planned to drill at
least 18.5 thousand running meters of wells. We will work in the harshest conditions of the Far
North, on permafrost. We have the relevant specialists and equipment, we have good experience
in carrying out work on Novaya Zemlya and in other regions," said Dinis Ezhurov, Director
General of RUSBURMASH JSC. "We are confident that we will fulfill our contractual obligations
efficiently and on time," said Gleb Nosyrev, Deputy General Director of JSC RUSBURMASH JSC
for Development.
