Miss Khadija’s face was filled with a big smile. And then when

the presentation ended, Miss Khadija said some inspiring

words and I remember her saying, “this is the presentation I

will give examples of”. She had to say this and tears started

rolling down my cheeks. I was not alone, my friends were

crying too, they were so happy that I finally cracked out of my

shell. The last presentation of my first semester finished and

so did my first semester.

Before the start of the second semester I had also done paid

internship at Bramerz (Pakistan’s top ranked Digital and

Social Media Agency) and it helped me explore myself a little

more, and gave me a little more confidence in me. In the

second semester, I went back to Dr. Shahid as I was among

the few with this much CGPA. Surprisingly enough, he gave

me a second TA-ship as there was still a need for some

financial support. So now I had a 50% merit scholarship and 2
