began. During the meeting, the things I had planned to speak
were not there with me anymore. I just remember speaking
from my heart and speaking the reality. I might have spoken a
little more and it made me emotional. Dr. Shahid listened to
every detail I presented and smiled. A feeling of optimism
lifted my face, my tears became happy ones and he approved.
I remember vividly what he said at the end, ”You are such a
brilliant student and i am sure getting a CGPA of 3.75
wouldn’t be an issue for you. Next semester if you still need
any help, I will be in my office”. These words were enough to
keep me motivated for the entire semester.
During the first semester I was a TA at TRRC-2. In all of my free
slots I was always seen working in TRRC-2, I had spent so
much time there that not only TRRC-2 knows me by my given
name but TRRC-3 also knows me by my given name. By the
end of the semester, I was the best TA and little did I know
that other TRRCs were keen to have me as their TA in the
