following semester. In the first semester I obtained a CGPA of
3.9 and behind this is a struggle that helped me explore
myself. It was a new environment for me and adjusting to it
took me a while. Presentation was my biggest weakness
which has now become my biggest strength. I remember
presenting in communication skills course and stammering
on each and every word making my presentation boring to
having the entire class in full swing. Till midterms, in
computing 1 course I had a C which was not going my favor. I
was constantly visiting Miss Khadija Ejaz to get guidance on
how to improve this grade. She always said to give it your best
in the project and especially the presentation. This was where
I thought I wouldn’t be able to maintain my scholarship
anymore. Anyhow, I worked day and night for the project.
During the presentation day, at first I wasn’t ready to present
but my friends Shaheer, Areeba, Eisha and others gave me
courage. Finally, it was my turn and out of nowhere a different
kind of energy uplifted me and along with me the entire class.
