Your Challenge
We have now covered all of the editing features and functions and you have had
the opportunity to try out each one using Local and your training demo site. I
hope that you are feeling confident because now you have a chance to put it all
together.

Self-check: Creating 2 Pages
Your challenges are to create two pages from scratch. One you can see already
and you are simply going to recreate it. The other is your own creation and could
perhaps be based on one of your current Site Builder web pages. You can then
copy and paste some of the text to save time but it’s your choice.
1 Following the steps you have been using please create a new page and
call it Welcome 2 then recreate the content of the current Welcome
page on your demo site.

2 Using the page you created earlier that you named after yourself
please now edit it. Make it aesthetically pleasing and include at least
six blocks of different styles.

You might need to refer to your notes or earlier sections of this workbook to
achieve the above. This exercise will highlight any areas that you are unsure
about so that you have the chance to repeat them. You will be able to complete
this exercise using the knowledge/skills that you have learned in this workbook. I
hope that you are pleased with your achievement.

When you have completed both of the above you can give yourself a pat on the
back. If you incorporated Events, a Gutenslider, or nested a block within a block
then award yourself a Bronze Star. If you added a Notice or a Post then make
that a Silver Star. If you did all of these things then it’s got to be a Gold Star +
and you are doing very well indeed.

When you have successfully got to this stage you are ready for phase 2 of
migration. There are just a few more Admin items that need to be covered first
so please keep going.
