Until now creating or amending navigation buttons has not been as intuitive as
other parts of WordPress. This feature was updated in WordPress 6.3 and again
in WordPress 6.4 and is now much easier to use. Select Navigation then your
own Navigation menu and you will see a list of the navigation buttons as seen on
your page headings.

In an earlier section you created a new page and called it your own name. I
created a page called Pam. We are going to use our pages now.
To add a new navigation button you must first create a page of the same name
as you did earlier.

Click on the Edit icon and the Navigation menu collapses and you get a new
menu on the right showing your navigation buttons.

To add a new navigation button you can click on the plus sign in the top menu,
add the new button with the same name as the new page you previously
created, then drag your new button to the place you want it to be on the menu.
Another option, and perhaps an easier one, is to use the plus sign at the bottom
of the page list on the right hand menu and add a page link block linked to the
new page. In both case the new button name then appears in the menu list.
