If you were Elmer, what would you
pack in your knapsack for another
adventure?
If I were Elmer, firstly I would list down all the
things I might need on my adventure on a notepad.
Then I would start to pack food and snack items start-
ing from thirty-one strawberries in a box, a packet of
chewing gums, 6 apples, 2 juices, and two packets of
Oreos. I would also pack some clothes, a pair of socks,
my rain boots, a hair comb, 10 rubber bands, a tooth-
brush, and toothpaste. At last, I would pack my favorite
doll, a sketchbook to draw while I rest, some stationery,
and a book to read.

If you were the Mother Owl in the story
“Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People’s Ears?”,
how would you react to the death of your
owlet and how would you punish the mosqui-
to?
If I were the mother Owl in the story Why Mosquitoes
Buzz in People’s Ears, I would feel sad and cry when I see my dead
baby lying on the floor. I would be very angry at the mosquito as
he killed my owlet. I would tell all the animals to punish the mosquito.
Since the mosquito would not be in the meeting, I would try to find
him. I will keep on searching for the mosquito until I find him. I will
not even hoot so that the Sun can come up as I will be very upset.
After finding the mosquito, I would call a council for all the animals
of the jungle. In the council, I will order the mosquito not to fly
around for 2 weeks as a punishment. I would ask other animals to
trap the mosquito so that it would not run away. Once it's done, I
will be happy and maybe I will think about hooting so that the Sun
can come up and all the animals will be happy.
