Plot:

One summer day in Frog Creek, Pennsylvania, a mysterious tree house appears in the woods.
Eight year old Jack and his seven year old sister Annie climb into the treehouse. They find out
that it was filled with books. Jack and Annie soon discover that the tree house is magical. It
could take them to the places in the books. All they had to do was point at a picture in the
book and wish to go there. They also discover that the owner of the tree house is Morgan
Le Fay.
In Magic Tree house series 13 (Vacation Under the Volcano) Morgan had asked Jack and
Anie to return to the treehouse in two weeks to go to China. This series 14 of the book (Day
of the Dragon King) starts with Morgan waving at Jack and Anie as they reach the magic
treehouse. She gives them a strip of bamboo which had some Chinese writing. Jack and Anie
now have to get a book from China. They make their wish and the treehouse starts to spin.
It spins faster and faster and after a while everything is still, absolutely still. They reach China
of 2000 years ago. Jack and Anie now go on a lot of adventures searching for the Dragon
King and the book. A lot of interesting events keep you hooked to the book until the end
where we will find out whether Jack and Anie find the book or not.
I recommend this book to children who enjoy reading fantasy books and adventurous stories.
