DDS CARES!
DDS has a reputation for giving back to the community even during these unprecedented times. The DDS Team
recently delivered three vehicle loads of collected food, first aid and toiletry items to help Chatham County Veterans
who are homeless or at risk of homelessness during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
“The heart of DDS is about serving others, and we are happy to help the Veterans in Chatham County and the sur-
rounding areas,” commented Commissioner Moore. “Chatham County is second only to the Fulton/Atlanta area in
veteran homelessness. I am very pleased with the level of giving from the DDS Team, and I know these supplies will
be put to good use.”
DDS solicited items from Team Members statewide for only a few weeks. The amount of donations surpassed any
drive conducted in the past. Due to the generosity of DDS Team Members, the Savannah Outpatient Clinic at the VA
Center will be able to assist many veterans in need.
Through your help, three (3) vehicles transported food, water, and toiletries to the Veterans Outreach Center.
Thanks to your support and generosity, DDS, including our onsite FAST partners, was able to help improve the lives
of countless homeless veterans.
The efforts of all DDS Team Members affirmed that we care for our veterans. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
