If you always tell the truth, you never have to remember anything.

TIP FROM IT – Beware of
                                    Christmas Grinches!!

Unfortunately Holidays bring the scammers, hackers and other thieves who try to trick you into giving
them login information to your banking, shopping (i.e. amazon account) and email accounts. The
combination of a phone number and email address is a particularly attractive target because the
verification process to reset banking and email passwords is often done by sending a message to your
       phone or your email.

           1. Do Not use the same password for shopping sites and financial sites.
           2. Be sure you enable the password/pin function on your phone, lock it every time.
           3. Turn on Find My Phone feature, in case you lose your phone.
           4. Implement the 2FA on email and banking sites whenever offered.

2FA = two factor authentication consists of verifying the user signing on, generally by the
website sending a code to your phone or email which you input into the log on screen.
           5. If you use Gmail, implement Google Authenticator which enables 2FA.
           6. Turn on banking alerts to send you a text when a transaction to you is made on your banking
                app.
           7. If available, use your banking app to lock your ATM/debit card when not being used.
