Marcie Gardner
Marcie joined DDS in 2005 as a Driver Examiner I. She was promoted to Driver
Examiner II in 2007 and became Assistant Manager of the Conyers CSC in 2015.
In 2017, she was promoted to the Human Resources Training Team. Marcie
loves to sing and has written several gospel songs. She enjoys resting, watching
movies, listening to stories about her daughters’ day, resting, spending time
with her husband, resting and more resting.
Nikita Hawk
Nikita joined DDS as an Executive Receptionist in 2005 and then promoted to
Administrative Assistant in Business Analysis in 2012. She was later promoted to
Personnel Technician in Human Resources in 2013 and an Office Administrator
in Field Operations in 2016. Currently, she serves as a Human Resources
Generalist 3 in Human Resources. She hates to shop but loves arts and crafts.
Favorite quote: “Bloom where you are planted.” – Janel Woods.
Cassandra Hall
Cassandra began her State Career as a Georgia State Patrol Radio Dispatcher in
1994 and moved to a Driver Examiner position in 1999. She was promoted to
Assistant Manager of the Dublin CSC in 2013. She enjoys reading, cooking and
eating. She brags about beating Pierre Miles in the ice bucket challenge. He got
soaked!
Wendy Hill
Wendy joined DDS as a Driver Examiner in 2006 and was promoted to a
Central Issuance Agent in 2008. She joined the Office of Investigations as an
Investigative Assistant in 2010. Wendy was a Girl Scout and can still recite
the Girl Scout Law – ask her! She likes going to the movies and making
memories with her two daughters. Her favorite quote is from her Daddy: “If
we spend so much time worrying about tomorrow and not living for today,
we aren’t really living. So live everyday like it’s your last and worry about
tomorrow when it gets here.”
Cheryl Husbands
Cheryl joined DDS in 2010 as a Driver Examiner and was promoted to
Assistant Manager in Locust Grove in 2012. She studied interior design in
college. She is known as the Queen of Napping and likes to hunt and fish.
Her Dad always said, “A job is like monkey bars. Don’t let go of one
before you have another one in hand.”
