Durable body up to 48 mm thick is made of steel with a yield point of 100 kgf / sq. mm.
The body was assembled using a block method: the submarine equipment was installed
inside the body on shock absorbers and in shock-absorbing blocks, which are part of the general
construction system of two-stage shock absorption (each block is isolated from the body by
rubber-cord pneumatic shock absorbers). The bow end of the wheelhouse enclosure is tilted
forward in order to improve the flow. The boat's hull is covered with a rubber anti-hydroacoustic
coating. Active noise reduction agents are also used. The principle of block construction of launch
vehicles in space technology.
