Denis Manturov: Russian Industrial Week is well-timed

Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade
of the Russian Federation, addressed the participants,
guests and organizers of the first Russian Industrial Week
held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds from October 19 to 22
with a welcoming message.
He noted that the implementation of such a large-scale
exhibition and congress project is very timely as a part of solving
the problems that the domestic machine-building industry faces
today. This also applies to import substitution and increasing
the export component. Currently, Russian enterprises need not
only to master the replacement production of final samples,
but also to work towards the creation and improvement of the
component base and components.
By combining several key industry exhibitions on one site, in
particular, in the field of construction materials, equipment, technologies and materials for
welding and cutting processes, as well as in the field of woodworking, the Russian Industrial Week
will allow assessing the accumulated potential, visually demonstrating the latest achievements
and the results of comprehensive measures of state support for domestic producers.
It is also important that within the framework of the industrial week, a rich business
program is planned, the events of which will allow discussing a wide range of issues of industry
development at an expert level, the greeting says.
