Christmas, we would pop balloons. Either you were lucky or not because inside the balloons,

there would be flour, money, or a toy. If you got the flour when you popped it, flour would go all

over you and it would cover all of your face and clothes. It would be a great time and there

would be laughs everywhere.

Finally, we would end the night with dancing. There

would be a DJ. My parents are into dancing, but my

sisters and I would dance with all our cousins and have

a great time. Sometimes, I would dance with my uncles

or I would dance with my aunts. After everyone sat

down and rested from the dancing, we would have our

gift exchange. At 12:00 there would be a lot of presents

all around because, with 11 uncles, aunts, and cousins,

there would be so much. Everyone would open their

presents and you would see smiles and laughs because

some of them were fake gifts, but later on, people got their real gifts. It was really fun to watch!

Christmas is a tradition with laughter. As I got older, I made this holiday a tradition of

our own, and this is why Christmas has impacted my life. This holiday is different from others

because there is joy everywhere.
