144 The Unforgettable Moments in Life

When every program is finished, the speaker calls everyone up to the front to sing

a blessing and thankful song to the main Marshallese pastor of King’s Chapel. The

people get crazy and throw candies, obviously, but before the day ends, the pastor

always has to put up a prayer for everyone that has come to the Christmas reunion.

Then we sing a worship song and the event is done.

Men stack chairs and tables while ladies clean the kitchen and bathrooms. This

event is really important to me because combining it with the whole church is the best

tradition in my culture. My favorite tradition is this one since I get to see my church

friends from different states and spend special moments together. If there was anything

I would choose in the world, I would choose my religion and my family. I'm pretty sure if

you came and joined us this December 25th of 2023, you would see the fun side of my

culture and enjoy the interesting dances!
