                                                      Deana’s Story

                                                        By Zaiden G.

Deana is an average teenage girl. She is kind. When she lived in her old house in

Oklahoma, the neighborhood was a nice neighborhood where everyone knew everyone, but the

placement of the house was not the best because it was in the middle of the city. All around were

big brick buildings and factories. At the time her dad worked at one of the factories that paid

               well.

While Deana was growing up, she remembered

playing with her friends one day in a place she

wasn't supposed to be. She had been playing at

that place for a couple of days and knew it was

time to go home when she heard her dad’s work

truck because the truck was very loud. One day

her dad’s truck stopped working and a friend

drove him home, so she didn’t hear his truck. She stayed playing where she wasn’t supposed to

be. When he got home, he went looking for her then found her in the middle of the street next to

the place she wasn’t supposed to be. He grabbed her and dragged her home in front of her friends

which was very embarrassing for her.

Another day she was walking home from school, and to save time, she went though

the place that she wasn't supposed to go. It was an abandoned junkyard. Her dad saw her leaving

and told her to get in the truck. She got in big trouble because he just didn't understand why she

would go through the junkyard. That day after she got home, her dad asked a friend who lived
