170 The Unforgettable Moments in Life
A Journey to the Hospital

The boy’s grandma never had it good when she was born; her dad was never there for her.
He was always out drinking at a bar which left her to be raised by her mother and her two
brothers in Huntsville . She was always moving from school to school until her mom got a good
job. They stayed in Oklahoma for three years before moving back to northwest Arkansas where
she graduated high school with a 4.4 gpa at the age of 17. Then, she had a kid, a daughter, at the
age of 18, after dating the boy’s grandfather for four months. She moved into a large house with
four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. It was here that she raised one child with her
husband.
The kid’s grandmother’s daughter found a husband that she thought was “the one”. She
had two kids and moved to a small town in the south, but then something happened that would
change their lives forever. Her grandson was rushed to a hospital when he was six years old due
to a lump on his head that was as big as a soft ball. They found out that something had been
